Community Christian School is an independent K-8 elementary school located in the village of Metcalfe, Ontario. Metcalfe is part of the city of Ottawa and serves families in south Ottawa, Greely, Osgoode, Embrun, Russell, and others. Families have been moving so that they can be closer to this great school!

Community Christian School was formed as an interdenominational elementary school on March 2, 1979. As a group of concerned Christians from Metcalfe and the surrounding area, we believe that God gives us an opportunity to ensure that our children are educated from a Christian perspective.

Our Mission, as Community Christian School, is to be an academic Christian institution which, based on biblical principles, enables students to learn to live for God in their daily walk, now and in the future.

We believe education is a parental responsibility and school is an extension of the home. The school is parentally controlled and provides an educational program where teaching and learning experiences are guided in the light of God's Word, the Bible.

Our objective is to equip children for wholehearted service to God and to the human community; to provide an educational program from Kindergarten to Grade 8 from the vantage point of the Christian faith.
